ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ADMISSION OF STUDENTS FROM ABROAD TO ASSOCIATE DEGREE AND UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS FOR THE 2023-2024 ACADEMIC YEAR, ADDITIONAL PLACEMENT 4

 

IMPORTANT NOTICE:


- Applications will be made online, and the documents required for the application will not be sent by mail, fax or e-mail.

- - Students who have been placed at our university according to the previous placement results can reapply. However, students who are eligible to enroll in any program must cancel their registration from the program they are registered in before the final registration date.

- Students who will be registered to our University according to the additional placement results will start their education in the fall semester of the 2024-2025 academic year.

 


A- GENERAL PRINCIPLES:

Candidates who will apply must first full fill the following conditions:

- He or she should be studying in the last year of a school equivalent to Turkish high schools or he needs to graduate,

- It is required to have obtained a score at the base and above of one of the following exams.

 

B- CANDIDATES WHOSE APPLICATION WILL BE ACCEPTED:


1. Those who are foreign nationals.

2. Those who are Turkish citizens by birth but have permission to renounce Turkish citizenship from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and those who have blue cards.

3. While he was a foreign national, he later became a Turkish Republic citizen / dual nationals,

4. Those who are TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) nationals and have GCEAL exam results and those who have or will have GCE AL exam results by enrolling and receiving education in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005 and 2010,

5. The students of Turkish nationals who completed the last three years of their secondary education in Turkish schools abroad (Except TRNC) before February 1, 2013 (including those who completed their entire secondary education in Turkish schools abroad except TRNC),

6. The students who completed their entire secondary education in Turkish schools abroad (Except TRNC) after February 1, 2013,

 

BASE SCORES ACCEPTED FOR APPLICATION

1) Requirements and base scores from the following exams.

a) At least 200 points out of 500 from TR-YÖS conducted by ÖSYM,

b) At least 50 points from ERÜYÖS,

c) At least 1000 total points from SAT 1, at least 500 points in mathematics.

d) A minimum score of 21 in ACT (American College Testing) Mixed, Mathematics, and Scientific Logic,

e) GCE (General Certificate Examination / A Level Certificate) At least 3 A-level Certificates, one of which is related to the applied program,

f) I.B. (International Baccalaureate) Having an International Baccalaureate Diploma and having a diploma grade of at least 28 according to the department to which they will apply,

g) A maximum of 4 points from the ABITUR (German Baccalaureate) exam,

h) Having a French Baccalaureate diploma and a diploma grade of at least 12/20, AL-Saha-AL TAHANAWIYYA (Syria, Libyan Baccalaureate), Science (Scientific Stream), 180 points out of 240 for departments of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, at least 170 points for other departments,

l) At least 480 points out of 750 in the score type of the program applied in the university entrance exam (GAOKAO) held in the People's Republic of China,

m) Diplome Debirestan and Pishdaneshgahi (Iran); High school diploma grade average (Diplome Debirestan) of at least 17/20 in Iran and the “Pisdanesgahi” final grade of at least 17/20,

n) Kazakhstan National University Test; At least 90 points out of 120,

o) At least 60 points from the Uan (Ujian Akhir Nasional) Exam held in Indonesia,

p) Students who receive valid points from University Entrance Exams conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Centre,

q) Those who received gold, silver and bronze medals in the International Science Olympiads recognized and participated by TÜBİTAK are accepted.

 

2) The base scores of the exams not mentioned above are decided by the commission. Students are also accepted with secondary education (high school) graduation exams and secondary education (high school) diploma grades.

3) “Special Talent Examination” is also required to be taken by the candidates applying to faculties and colleges admitting students according to the results of Special Talent Examination.

 

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR APPLICATION:

1. The original of the Examination Result document (YÖS, SAT, GCE, etc.) and a notary or consulate certified copy translated into Turkish,

2. The original diploma and temporary graduation certificate and notary or consulate certified copies translated into Turkish.

3. Transcript (grade status document): Candidates must submit their transcripts approved by the relevant high school directorate, showing the courses they took in high school and their grades, and a notary or consulate approved copy translated into Turkish.

4. The original passport or identity and a photocopy of the page showing identification information,

5. Bank receipt of the evaluation and placement fee (the receipt should include personal information of the candidate and the application fee of the rejected candidates will not be refunded.),

6. Passport photo

 

 

EVALUATION AND PLACEMENT FEE:

500 TL (five hundred Turkish lira)

- The applicant's "Name and Surname" information must be included on the receipt.

-The receipt date must be between 4-8 March 2024. Receipts from previous applications will not be accepted. It will be deposited to the account number 1241-06000018 at Halk Bank Kayseri Erciyes University Branch.

APPLICATION DATES: 4-8 March 2024 until the end of the day (23.59).

EVALUATION AND RESULTS ANNOUNCEMENT DATE: 15 March, 2024

REGISTRATION DATES OF PLACED CANDIDATES: 18 March – 19 April 2024

 

AVALUATION OF APPLICATIONS


1. Applications of candidates will be evaluated by the Foreign Student Examination and Admission Commission of our university.

2. In applications for admission of students from abroad, a 20% country quota will be applied in the programs to be determined by the Evaluation and Placement Commission of our university.

3. The scores obtained from the above-mentioned university entrance and secondary education (high school) graduation exams are evaluated by converting them into a hundred scale system.

4. A minimum of 85 points is required from the university entrance and secondary education (high school) graduation exams to apply to Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Law programs. Student applications with diploma grades will not be accepted for these programs.

5. For applications with a diploma, the diploma grade must be at least 70 for programs in the Faculty of Engineering and at least 50 for programs in other faculties.

6. For applications with exam results, the results of the exams held in 2022 and 2023 are valid. Online exam results are not valid.

7. The highest of the university entrance exam, secondary education (high school) graduation exam and diploma grades used by the candidates in the application is taken as basis.

8. Accepted candidates will be sent an acceptance letter by our University. With this acceptance letter, candidates must go to the Turkish Embassy in their country (or the nearest) and obtain a "Student Visa". A student visa is absolutely necessary to enter Turkey and enrol in our University.

9. Evaluation of applications and placement of candidates are entirely within the authority of the Commission. There is no obligation to fill all quotas, but candidates who meet the conditions will be placed.

10. Those who were placed and registered through the quotas in the previous announcement cannot apply in the additional announcement.

11. Applications of candidates who do not meet the application conditions will not be evaluated.

12. The registrations of candidates who are determined not to meet the application conditions will be cancelled even if they are registered.

13. For Pakistan, having received at least 750 points out of 1100 from the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) exam.

Students who are accepted from abroad for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 academic years are required to pay a Tuition Fee, regardless of their nationality.
