APPLICATION FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS ANNOUNCEMENTS

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ADMISSION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ASSOCIATE AND UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMS (2025-2026 Academic Year)
A- GENERAL PRINCIPLES:
Candidates who will apply must first full fill the following conditions:
1. He or she should be studying in the last year of a school equivalent to Turkish high schools or he needs to graduate,
2. It is required to have obtained a score at the base and above of one of the following exams.
B- CANDIDATES WHOSE APPLICATION WILL BE ACCEPTED:
1. Foreign nationals who studying in secondary education (high school) institutions in Turkey should be registered before the 2022-2023 academic year (Except Embassy schools, international private education institutions in the MOBİS system and foreigners brought to our country within the framework of the project carried out by the Ministry of National Education),
2. Those who are Turkish citizens by birth but have permission to renounce Turkish citizenship from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and those who have blue cards (provided that they are registered before the 2022-2023 academic year),
3. While he was a foreign national, he later became a Turkish Republic citizen / dual nationals who studying in secondary education (high school) institutions in Turkey should be registered before the 2022-2023 academic year,
4. Those who are Turkish citizens and have completed their entire secondary education (high school) in a foreign country other than TRNC (including those who have completed their entire secondary education [high school] in Turkish schools opened by the Ministry of National Education in a foreign country other than TRNC),
5. Those who are TRNC citizens, reside in TRNC and have completed their secondary education (high school) in TRNC and have GCE AL exam results, and those who have or will have GCE AL exam results by enrolling and receiving education in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005-2010.
TYPES OF SCORES ACCEPTED FOR APPLICATION
- Applicants must meet the minimum scores and conditions from the exams listed below in order to be eligible to apply.
MINIMUM REQUIRED SCORES FOR APPLICATION
- For the Faculty of Medicine – Medicine program, applications based on high school diploma grade or high school graduation exam scores will not be accepted. The minimum application score is 400 points.
- For the Faculty of Dentistry – Dentistry program, applications based on high school diploma grade or high school graduation exam scores will not be accepted. The minimum application score is 350 points.
- For the Faculty of Pharmacy – Pharmacy program, applications based on high school diploma grade or high school graduation exam scores will not be accepted. The minimum application score is 300 points.
- For the programs in the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Engineering, the minimum required score is 200 points from the TR-YÖS exam, or at least 70 out of 100 for applications based on high school diploma grade or high school graduation exam scores.
- For the programs in other faculties/schools, the minimum required score is 200 points from the TR-YÖS exam, or at least 60 out of 100 for applications based on high school diploma grade or high school graduation exam scores.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
As applications will be made online, the requested documents must not be sent additionally via post, fax, or e-mail.
EVALUATION AND PLACEMENT FEE: Three thousand Turkish lira (3000 TL) The applicant's identity information must be included in the payment description section. The application fee will not be refunded to applicants whose applications are rejected. The payment must be made to Halk Bankası, Kayseri Erciyes University Branch, account number 1241-06000018.

APPLICATION DATES: on June 23 – July 2, 2025
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
- Students who are eligible to register must pre-register in order to gain the right to final registration. They must pre-register at obisis.erciyes.edu.tr. They must deposit 25% of the tuition fee for the 2025-2026 Academic Year on the pre-registration dates. 75% of the tuition fee will be paid during the final registration.
- If the students who pay 25% of the tuition fee for pre-registration and give up final registration, the amount they have paid will not be refunded. (Only in case a study visa cannot be obtained and if this situation is documented, it will be refunded).
- Students who are granted the right to enroll but fail to complete the pre-registration and pay 25% of the tuition fee before registration will lose their enrollment rights.
EVALUATIONS OF APPLICATIONS
1. Applications of candidates will be evaluated by our University Evaluation and Placement Commission (Commission).
2. For candidates with a blue card or dual citizenship (one of whose citizenship is Turkish), a quota of 10% of the quota in the Teaching, Law, Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy programs will be given.
3. The Commission is authorized to determine the quota rates for programs and how they will be implemented in every student admission process.
4. The scores obtained from the university entrance and high school graduation exams mentioned above will be converted to the TR-YÖS score scale (calculated out of a total of 500 points) for evaluation. (For example, a candidate with a diploma score of 70 will be evaluated with a score of 350.)
5. Only TR-YÖS scores will be used for applications to the Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy programs. Applications based on high school diploma grades or high school graduation exam scores will not be accepted for these programs.
6. The TR-YÖS result is valid for two years from the date of the exam.
7. Among the high school graduation exam score and the diploma grade submitted in the application, the higher one will be considered for evaluation.
8. In the placement process, priority will be given in the following order: TR-YÖS score, high school graduation exam score, and high school diploma grade.
9. An acceptance letter will be sent to the admitted applicants by our University. A student visa is required for entry into Türkiye and for the registration process. Therefore, applicants must take this acceptance letter to the nearest Turkish Embassy in their country to obtain a 'Student Visa'.
10. The evaluation of applications and placement of candidates are within the authority of the Commission. There is no obligation to fill all quotas, only the candidates who meet the requirements will be placed.
11. Applications of candidates who do not meet the application conditions will not be taken into consideration.
12. Candidates who are determined not to meet the application requirements will have their registrations cancelled, even if they are registered.
13. Applicants who are found to have submitted falsified documents will be reported to the Office of the Public Prosecutor.
