ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ADMISSION OF STUDENTS FROM ABROAD TO ASSOCIATE DEGREE AND UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS FOR THE 2024-2025 ACADEMIC YEAR
A- GENERAL PRINCIPLES:
Candidates who will apply must first full fill the following conditions:
- He or she should be studying in the last year of a school equivalent to Turkish high schools or he needs to graduate,
- It is required to have obtained a score at the base and above of one of the following exams.
B- CANDIDATES WHOSE APPLICATION WILL BE ACCEPTED:
- Foreign nationals who studying in secondary education (high school) institutions in Turkey should be registered before the 2022-2023 academic year (Except Embassy schools, international private education institutions in the MOBİS system and foreigners brought to our country within the framework of the project carried out by the Ministry of National Education),
- Those who are Turkish citizens by birth but have permission to renounce Turkish citizenship from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and those who have blue cards (provided that they are registered before the 2022-2023 academic year),
- While he was a foreign national, he later became a Turkish Republic citizen / dual nationals who studying in secondary education (high school) institutions in Turkey should be registered before the 2022-2023 academic year,
- Those who are Turkish citizens and have completed their entire secondary education (high school) in a foreign country other than TRNC (including those who have completed their entire secondary education [high school] in Turkish schools opened by the Ministry of National Education in a foreign country other than TRNC),
- Those who are TRNC citizens, reside in TRNC and have completed their secondary education (high school) in TRNC and have GCE AL exam results, and those who have or will have GCE AL exam results by enrolling and receiving education in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005-2010.
BASE SCORES ACCEPTED FOR APPLICATION
- Requirements and base scores from the following exams.
- At least 200 points out of 500 from TR-YÖS conducted by ÖSYM,
- At least 1000 total points from SAT 1, at least 500 points in mathematics.
- A minimum score of 21 in ACT (American College Testing) Mixed, Mathematics, and Scientific Logic,
- GCE (General Certificate Examination / A Level Certificate) At least 3 A-level Certificates, one of which is related to the applied program,
- B. (International Baccalaureate) Having an International Baccalaureate Diploma and having a diploma grade of at least 28 according to the department to which they will apply,
- A maximum of 4 points from the ABITUR (German Baccalaureate) exam,
- Having a French Baccalaureate diploma and a diploma grade of at least 12/20,
- At least 80 points out of 100 in the exam result taken from all courses in the scientific stream from the TAWJÎHİ exam held in Jordan and Palestine,
- A diploma score of at least 14/20 in the Scientific Stream exam in the Baccalaureate (Baccalaureat Libanais) exam held in Lebanon,
- Al-Sahada-Al Tahanawiyya (Syria, Libya Baccalaureate), 180 points out of 240 for scientific stream, engineering-architecture faculty departments, at least 170 points for other departments,
- At least 480 points out of 750 in the score type of the program applied in the university entrance exam (GAOKAO) held in the People's Republic of China,
- Diplome Debirestan and Pishdaneshgahi (Iran); High school diploma grade average (Diplome Debirestan) of at least 17/20 in Iran and the “Pisdanesgahi” final grade of at least 17/20,
- Kazakhstan National University Test; At least 90 points out of 120,
- At least 60 points from the Uan (Ujian Akhir Nasional) Exam held in Indonesia,
- Students who receive valid points from University Entrance Exams conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Centre,
- Those who received gold, silver and bronze medals in the International Science Olympiads recognized and participated by TÜBİTAK are accepted.
- For Pakistan, a score of at least 700 out of 1100 from the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) exam,
- Students can also be accepted with the countries' own national/international university entrance level exams, secondary education (high school) graduation exams and secondary education (high school) diploma grades not mentioned above. The base scores for each of these are determined by the Commission.
- The exam types and diploma grades mentioned in the 1st and 2nd paragraphs can be used together or alone in calculating the candidates' placement scores.
- When calculating the placement scores, the Commission may apply a coefficient to the application scores of the candidates when deemed necessary.
- Candidates who are placed in faculties that accept students through special talent exams are also given a "Special Aptitude Exam". Successful candidates gain the right to register.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR APPLICATION:
- The original of the exam result document and a notary or consulate approved copy translated into Turkish (TR-YÖS result document for candidates who applied via TR-YÖS Exam).
- High School Diploma: The original of the high school diploma or temporary graduation certificate, a notary or consulate approved copy translated into Turkish. (For senior high school students, student certificate proving their status and a notary or consulate approved copy translated into Turkish).
- Transcript (grade status document): Candidates must submit their transcripts approved by the relevant high school directorate, showing the courses they took in high school and their grades, and a notary or consulate approved copy translated into Turkish.
- The original passport or identity and a photocopy of the page showing identification information,
- Bank receipt of the evaluation and placement fee (the receipt should include personal information of the candidate and the application fee of the rejected candidates will not be refunded.),
- Passport photo.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Since applications will be made over the Internet, the requested documents will not be sent separately by mail, fax or e-mail.
EVALUATION AND PLACEMENT FEE: 2500 TL (two thousand five hundred Turkish lira)
(The applicant's "Name and Surname" information must be included on the receipt. The application fee of candidates whose applications are rejected will not be refunded.)

EVALUATION OF APPLICATIONS
- Applications of candidates will be evaluated by the Foreign Student Examination and Admission Commission of our university.
- The number of foreign students accepted from the same country to the international student quotas determined for Medicine and Dentistry programs cannot exceed 10% of the quota,
- For candidates with a blue card or dual citizenship (one of whom has Turkish citizenship), a quota of 10% of the quota in Teaching, Law, Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy programs will be given.
- The number of foreign students accepted from the same country to the international student quotas determined for Medicine and Dentistry programs cannot exceed 10% of the quota,
- The Commission is authorized to determine the quota rates in programs for countries and how to implement them in every international student recruitment process.
- The scores obtained from the university entrance and secondary education (high school) graduation exams mentioned above are evaluated by converting them into a hundred percent system.
- In order to apply to Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Law programs, a minimum of 85 points must be obtained from the university entrance and secondary education (high school) graduation exams. Student applications with diploma grades will not be accepted for these programs.
- Exams that have the status of university entrance exams and TR-YÖS results are valid for two years from the exam date.
- The highest of the university entrance exam, secondary education (high school) graduation exam and diploma grades used by the candidates in the application is taken as basis.
- In the placement process, TR-YÖS score - university entrance, secondary education (high school) graduation exam score - diploma grade score will be taken into account in order of priority.
- Accepted candidates will be sent an acceptance letter by our University. A student visa is required for entry to Turkey and registration. Therefore, candidates must go to the Turkish Embassy in their country (or the nearest) with this acceptance letter and obtain a "Student Visa".
- Evaluation of applications and placement of candidates are within the authority of the Commission. There is no obligation to fill all quotas; candidates who meet the conditions will be placed.
- Applications of candidates who do not meet the application conditions will not be evaluated.
- The registrations of candidates who are determined not to meet the application conditions will be cancelled even if they are registered.
